Know What
You're Entitled To.
Government subsidies can significantly reduce the cost of rooftop solar. See what may apply to your home — and what Solarise can do to help you claim it.

Illustrative example only — actual price and eligible subsidy depend on your system, location and eligibility. Not a Solarise quotation.
Three Numbers Matter.
Central Subsidy
PM Surya Ghar — a fixed, capacity-based capital subsidy from the central government, the same nationwide.
State Support
Depends on where you live. Some states add a capital subsidy, some don't, some offer targeted support only.
Your Effective Cost
System price minus every applicable capital subsidy you actually qualify for.
Not every government benefit is an upfront discount.
Generation-based incentives, bill-linked benefits and other ongoing schemes are paid out over time based on how much power your system actually generates. They reduce your electricity costs over the years — but they are not deducted from your system price upfront the way a capital subsidy is. The calculator below keeps these separate so you see an accurate picture.

Use your Solarise quoted price if you have one, or a rough estimate for now.
Delhi also offers a Generation-Based Incentive (GBI) of ₹3/kWh for systems up to 3 kW, and ₹2/kWh for systems above 3 kW up to 10 kW. GBI is paid over time based on actual generation — it is not an upfront reduction to your system cost.
Numbers are estimates for guidance, based on National Portal for Rooftop Solar and Delhi Solar Portal — Central Subsidy data (last verified September 2026). Final subsidy is subject to scheme rules, eligibility, approved- vendor requirements, commissioning and government/DISCOM verification.

PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana is the central government's residential rooftop-solar scheme, run by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). The subsidy is capacity-based, applications run through the National Portal for Rooftop Solar, and it targets residential households installing eligible rooftop systems.
₹78,000 is the maximum central capital subsidy for a residential system — capacity above 3 kW does not increase the central subsidy further. Source: National Portal for Rooftop Solar · last verified September 2026.

RESCO / Zero-Upfront Model
Skip the upfront capital cost entirely — Solarise owns and maintains the system, you pay a monthly amount for the power it generates.
